Learn from Scott McMurtry, former Chief of Staff for District 8, about the creation of the Affordable Housing Bonus Program that’s currently under consideration. He’ll share his experiences on this and other housing proposals & debates taken up by the Pittsburgh City Council in recent years. If time allows, he’ll also speak about how housing fits into his current work as Economic Development Director at InnovatePGH - Oakland.

The Jewish Community Center is near the intersection of Forbes and Murray Ave. Bus lines 61A/B/C/D, and 64 stop nearby. There is a limited amount of car parking in the garage, and plentiful street parking. The JCC also has plentiful covered bike parking.
