Pro-Housing Pittsburgh is encouraging members to join this Saturday for a walking tour hosted by the Baum-Center Planning Forum.
The Baum-Centre Planning Forum (formerly Baum Centre Initiative) is hosting a walking tour this Saturday, May 17th, from 10 am - noon of parts of the Baum-Centre Corridor. We'll begin at the corner of S. Aiken Ave. and Baum Boulevard. We'll talk about the newer developments, currently vacant properties, how this stretch of land from Oakland down to East Liberty is zoned, and what we'd like to see in this transitional area between neighborhoods in future years.
How to get there:
We will be meeting at the corner of S. Aiken & Baum Blvd. Buses 71A/C, 77, & 82 stop nearby. The Negley Station on the East Busway is about a 10 minute walk. There is also plentiful bike & car parking on the street.
